The shape of our bones are pretty much set by the time we reach puberty. That’s also why a lot of young gymnasts are washed out of their programs at that early age because you cannot train your bones to be more flexible. You can train your soft tissues to do that, but not the bones.

After you reach the point of diminishing returns in stretching the soft tissues, your bones hit compression and you cannot go any further. If you do, injuries will be your best friend.

You either have the bones or you don’t. It’s in your DNA.
