Our Team

Dominik Trznadel

Dominik’s yoga journey began in 2008, whilst studying Cultural Anthropology at the University of East London. Soon after, he discovered yoga, which became his second love (his first love, being his wife). Whilst living in London, Dominik became fascinated with the topic of mindfulness, and how it benefited people of different religious and cultural backgrounds. Over the years, his key areas of interest have become spirituality, psychology, philosophy, health and education.

To dive deep into his study of Eastern Philosophy, in 2012 Dominik moved from the UK to South of China, so he could learn as much as possible about the benefits of Chinese Medicine and the power of chi cultivation. His studies led him to discover yin yoga and he immediately threw himself into his first teacher training with Jo Phee, in Shanghai. As a minimalist he found yin yoga to be the perfect tool to connect to his inner self, whilst helping him to connect with others – and so, his yin journey had begun.

Dominik spent over seven years in China. During this time, he immersed himself fully into the study of TCM, that is at the core of his yin yoga practice. With a background in social anthropology, meditation as well as extensive travelling to 30+ countries, he gained much life experience and depth in his personal practice, which he has shared through teaching yin yoga to others. Since 2016, Dom is proud to have stepped into the role of a teacher trainer, yet will always be a student first.

Dominik is a Senior Assistant to Jo Phee, having taken over 900 hours of teacher trainings with the Yinspiration Founder, as a student or teaching assistant. Dominik is a E-RYT 200 trainer and a registered YACEP. He recently moved with his wife and baby girl to the UK, yet travels internationally to offer workshops and teacher trainings in yin yoga.

Fran is a full time Yinspiration Yin Yoga Teacher Trainer who teaches the Chinese Medicine and Myofascial Release modules created by Jo Phee.

Fran was introduced to Yin Yoga in 2014 and experienced such strong healing in her first class that the seed was planted. She embarked on her journey to learn more about Yin Yoga and became a teacher.

In 2015 she graduated from her 200 hours Yin Yoga Teacher Training in Bali with Yinspiration school. In 2017 she started assisting Jo Phee in her 60 hours modules and the 200 hour teacher training, becoming one of her senior assistants and Yinspiration Trainer.

Fran has more than 15 years of yoga practice experience. Since graduating she has taught hundreds of public classes all over the world and managed over 30 retreats in Europe, as both the lead teacher and the manager.

Her interest in teaching and studying yoga intensified through her own personal decade-long struggle with anxiety and her desire to understand the body – mind connection, and how crucial this understanding is in creating a joyful life.

Fran’s classes are influenced by Traditional Chinese Medicine, Fascia science, energy work and mindfulness practice; it is her intention to teach tools that empower the student in their own healing journey.

Personal experience is the strongest teacher and Fran’s knowledge is continually growing this way, as well as through ongoing observation and assistance to Jo Phee, Fran has found a strong influence and guide in her own work.

-When we learn how to deal with ourselves and be the living example, we truly are of benefit for the ones around us-

Fran continued her studies with Sarah Powers in 2016 and attended her first human cadaver dissection with Jo Phee and Antonio Stecco in 2019 at the world famous Bodyworlds Plastinarium in Guben, Germany. Nicky Hadjithoma

Nicky Hadjithoma is a Senior Yin Yoga Teacher and the long-term Primary Assistant to Jo Phee. She sits on the faculty of Asia’s largest yoga studio group, as the Lead Yin Yoga Teacher Trainer.

Nicky discovered yoga in 2007, when beginning to seek a path away from her troubled youth and to support her journey from addiction. Over time, her practice has given her the inner strength and resilience to deal with the complexities of life and helped to relieve her long-suffering afflictions with anxiety and depression. As such, Nicky believes yoga to be the ultimate healing practice and tool for personal transformation.

Informed by her studies of Western anatomy, Eastern philosophy and profound interest in psycho-spiritual development, Nicky’s practice and teaching focus on exploring the path towards physical, mental and emotional well-being. Her classes are a blend of functional yoga principles, Chinese meridian theory and Mindfulness Meditation. She guides students to honour their unique physicality, connect to the more subtle energetic qualities of the practice and explore the depths of their inner landscape. Her goal is for students to cultivate the self-awareness required to help them along their own healing journeys.

Nicky has had the privilege of studying with many of the world’s most senior yin yoga and mindfulness teachers, including Paul Grilley, Sarah Powers, Bernie Clark, Joe Barnett, Josh Summers, Tiffany Cruikshank, Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield, to date. Her deepest gratitude however, remains to her primary teacher Jo Phee, for her ongoing influence and encouragement. Having personally apprenticed under the yin yoga pioneer for close to a decade, Nicky is Jo’s longest-serving Senior Assistant and the most experienced of the Yinspiration Trainers. Having taught thousands of public yoga classes to a diverse mix of students, Nicky’s knowledge in teaching yin and functional yoga has been gained from years of studio teaching experience.

Nicky is fully endorsed to teach the Yinspiration curriculum, based on the Paul Grilley method. She currently lives in Hong Kong, where she continues to teach full-time, whilst offering workshops and teacher trainings – both in person and online – in various modalities of yin yoga and a functional anatomy.
